The Country of Origin (CoO) is where a product is manufactured, produced, or grown, NOT where it is shipped from.

Substantial Transformation

If parts from multiple countries are used, origin is usually defined by where the product underwent its "last substantial transformation"—the process that gives the article its essential character.

A formalized Certificate of Origin, often stamped by a local Chamber of Commerce, is required by many importing nations (especially in the Middle East) to process entry.
